Very Happy
I was very happy with the Aran slipper socks, they look like they will be warm and the suede sole will help them last a long time. The price was fair also. I wore the Aran sweater I bought in 1973 on a school trip to Ireland from Hand Crafters at my church's Christmas dinner a week ago and after 45 years it still fits me and is in good shape. But if it ever wears out I look forward to buying another one, probably on line, from Quills of Ireland.com. In the mean time I have past the little catalog you sent with the slipper socks along to my brother. He likes my sweater and has expressed interest in buying an Aran sweater also. He is afraid of the price but I told him it will probably last him the rest of his life if he takes care of it (not a lot of care, I know, is required). That helps make the purchase quite a little bit more affordable.I purchased what you call a "Country Hat" when I visited your store in Killarney when I was with the Joanie Madden Musical Tour of Ireland on September 14. I am very happy with that hat also. I have been looking for what I think is called an Irish fiddler's or fisherman's hat also such I have seen Barney Mckenna of the Irish folk group the Dubliners wearing during many of that groups later public performances. Does Quills have that type of hat or do you know where I may purchase one. I would appreciate any information you could pass along. Thank you and have a Merry Christmas and Happy 2020.
