General FAQs

All orders are despatched from our shop within 1-2 working days from receipt of order. If for any reason we cannot meet this target we will be in touch to let you know. Delivery times also vary based on product purchased, so please check your individual product page for details. Shipping and estimated delivery times always refer to business days, i.e. Monday - Friday and exclude all Irish Holidays and Good Friday.

USA & Canada takes 5-10 Days

UK takes 3-5 Days

Ireland 2-3 Days

Germany (& most of Europe) 4-8 Days


Unfortunately not. Once your order has been submitted, the information will be sent directly to our warehouse for processing. After submitting, we are unable to change any part of your order, including shipping details, shipping method, personalisation, or order contents. We cannot alter or change the contents of an order, including changing a garment size or colour. If you wish to make an alteration, we will need to cancel and refund your order, and you can then place a new order.

Unfortunately, we're unable to cancel or change any part of your order once placed, including the delivery address and order contents.

We are unable to add another item to an order that has already been submitted. Once an order has been submitted, the information will be sent directly to our warehouse for processing.

Firstly, it’s most unusual for this to occur so if it has we sincerely apologize for letting you down in this manner. The vast majority of orders reach our customers earlier than expected, but if your parcel doesn't arrive in the timescale promised, you can always email us by clicking on the 'Email Us' link above. If there is a delay with your parcel we will do our best to inform you and keep you updated on the progress of your order. We will investigate with the delivery company straight away and have another parcel sent out to you if needed.

Firstly, we would like to apologise in advance if this has happened, we are truly sorry. We will need to investigate the fault before deciding on next actions so please get in touch with us directly.

We always strive to deliver our parcels within the timeframe listed on our website, but if there is a delay with your parcel, we will do our best to inform you and keep you updated on the progress of your order. In the case of a lost parcel, we will always be more than happy to arrange for a replacement to be sent, once the consignee has first checked with the carrier to see if they are able to provide any more information on the missing item(s).

All delivery lead times are pending customs therefore if customs wish to hold a parcel for inspection it can cause a delay beyond our control. We regret that Quills Woollen Market cannot be held responsible and delivery costs will still apply.

Sometimes emails sent to our customers will go into their Spam or Junk Mail. Once you place your order, make sure to monitor your Spam or Junk Mail folders for updates. Please contact us if you still require assistance.

The DO NOT HONOR error message means that your bank has put a block on the transaction as it is from Ireland. The best thing to do is to call your bank and explain you are ordering On-line from Ireland and kindly ask them to allow the transaction. Then, try and place your order again.

For customers outside of the EU, the price of the item on the website will be the amount charged at the final checkout page and there will be no further charges or duties added to the item.

Some products are exclusive to stores so not all items are always available online. If you see something in store and would like to purchase online please send us an email on quillsofireland@gmail.com with a description and quantity and we will do our best to fulfil your requirements
